What We DON’T Do

 In Insulation

What We Don't DoWhat we DON’T do:

We:

Don’t use wood for framing or walls or wheel boxes.

Wood is

  • heavy,
  • absorbs moisture,
  • rots

We:

Don’t use spray foam for insulation

So We:

  •      Don’t      have the van body sidepanels warping or distorting.(irreversible damage)
  •      Don’t      have uneven thickness of insulation (with significantly less insulation within the sides, roof of the van)
  •      Don’t      leave structural cavities empty and un-insulated, so we,
  •      Don’t     have water droplets of condensation forming on the outside of the van body where the cold is leaking through
  •      Don’t     have to compensate for these factors with a larger than necessary refrigeration unit (does not overwork and prematurely fail)

We:

Don’t  use plastic or fiberglass panel so we avoid yellowing/browning/greying discolouration and we eliminate the inevitable cracking under impact (which leads to moisture invading the insulation and mildew formation, or worse, harbour bacteria)

Don’t use pebble-grained or patterned panels as they are hard to clean and permit buildup of surface dirt/bacteria

Don’t  do plastic or kemlite liners as they crack, yellow and are hard to keep clean………….
